Fortress version of rvz mitx looks good for htpc purpose too if you are ok with 1 pcie and sfx psu.

I guess the "let's lift the bottom of the case one inch off the ground by using a piece of metal that goes the whole width of the case and from front to back" look it the new hotness in cases.

Isn't that a nice way of lifting the case off the ground so that it can be put on areas with carpets? It just frees up intake, imo.

Intrigued by the Fortress version of the RVZ01 and really hoping for a windowed version of the FT05.

I was also on the decision for the FT04, but it seems that the FT05 is mirrored, so that the window will be on the opposite side... (still no clear evidence on the pictures tho)

I hope it has the same orientation as the FT02. My room is kind of build around my PC window being on the right.

Then prepare to be disappointed, because it's on the left.

In the OP, look at the second picture. Do you see that black fan at the top right? That's where I'm thinking the board's back panel and CPU socket will end up, so it will be mirrored exactly like in the FT02, window will end up on the same side as FT04.

EDIT: No, wait... I think I'm wrong. There's some sort of grating on the left side in that second picture, and it also shows up in the third picture at the back side of the case. So that means the front and back are reversed compared to the FT02, the CPU area is to the front of the case, the area with expansion cards is towards the back, the window will end up on the left side of the case.

You're right about the layout, but you're wrong thinking the fan is at the back of the case. It's at the front. The PSU is at the back. See this image:

That makes the window on the left.

edit: which you've clearly figured out tongue.gif

Without modding, no room for radiators?

Possibly a dual 180mm on the bottom. Alternatively, a 360 or 280 on the bottom, if there are fan mounts for it. Doesn't look like a lot of room between the motherboard and 180mm fans though, so it could be very tight. (Edit: only looks tight for EATX boards. Regular ATX should have a good couple inches.) The top 120 exhaust is the only rad spot that is pretty much guaranteed.
