GTX 760 With GTS 450 Question

Thread Starter
I just upgraded from 2 GTS 450's to one GTX 760. Would it benifit me to use one of the GTS 450's for physX? I know that if the physX card is too slow it will slow down the whole system. Is there anyway to test this?

Yep, but it's a little bit of physical labor.

Start by playing a PhysX game with just the GTX 760. Spend some time getting used to the performance. Maybe play for an hour.

Then, add the GTS 450 in and assign the PhysX processing to it. Then, play the same video game again and see if you notice any difference.

Testing is of course the only way to really know, but being a former GTS450 owner myself and based on current consensus a PHYSx card really just kills you in FPS. Especially when pairing a 450 and a 760. Check out THIS video.
