I agree, it sounds amazing and I've never heard anything else like it. I'd prefer to lose my PC rather than this setup. Those speakers have this "hit" when the bass and treble are turned just to the right levels that just sounds so good.

Those are 1973 Zenith Allegro 3000's driven through my 1978 Kenwood KR-3090. I use the Kenwood as kind of a breakout box for when I use my headphones, and it's also a bonus because I get to change bass and treble straight from the receiver.

And the best thing about my stereo setup is that it was all free. I got the speakers from my world history teacher, and the receiver was in the garage of a co worker biggrin.gif

No problem at all man, that is awesome! Love the way it looks!

*OFF TOPIC* What do you plan on doing with your old Logitech 5.1 speakers? I've been looking for a cheap speaker system.

I was just going to throw them in a box and keep them around for awhile, but I don't really have a need for them. I'm not really sure what they're even worth anymore to be honest haha. I would be willing to get rid of them though.

Small Update (no pictures yet): I got the motherboard, PSU and video cards in the case for test fitting and to make custom length cables. So that's what I have been doing is just sleeving everything for the last couple days and trying to get that done. I did get the 5.25" bay clips in place and they look pretty awesome. The green is going to look really nice once its all done. I have seemed to develop a bit of a "striped" theme throughout the case unintentionally haha. But it looks really good. For the sleeving I am keeping with that theme and doing green sleeving with a black stripe.

Anyways, pics to come later on today or tomorrow morning!

Thanks for checking it out!

As promised, here are a couple teaser pics of what I have goin on!

Painted SSD. I think this looks really cool! I haven't fully decided where I want to mount my SSD's yet, but it will probably be somewhere to the right of the motherboard on a black acrylic sheet or something like that.

Some sleeving done. I still need to form the wires a little better but just plugged them in to make sure I measured the length correctly.

You can kind of see what I was talking about with the black stripe becoming a theme haha. I was actually thinking about painting a stripe in the PSU as well to follow the theme.

Let me know what you think!

Looking good! I like the green theme - my build is also going to be a green/black theme biggrin.gif

I was thinking about doing the back PCI slot covers on my 750D in green so seeing yours has definitely made my mind up.

I feel like there are too many red and blue pc builds out there. Like to see people going with the green theme. Keep it up, buddy! thumb.gif

If you can ever come up with a decent price for the set of speakers, I'd love to put them to good use. I live in Houston, TX, so shipping wouldn't be an issue. Lemme know if you figure something out. Thanks, buddy! thumb.gif

Just shoot me an offer in a PM and I can go from there. Ill have to figure out what shipping would cost, but yeah. I am sure we can make it work.
