Oh I bet, my friends older brother has an 04 Subaru Impreza STI with SO many engine mods, the thing accelerates like a monster. He got a new crate engine and bigger turbo recently and he's fairly close to 500hp now. 500 out of a 4Banger!

Nice, I have done some stuff to mine. Nothing crazy though. Just put on an exhaust, intake, and UICP. That's about it though. Trying to let my warranty run its course. There is a guy that has a 950 awhp Evo it's called the 3DX if you want to look it up. Pretty crazy stuff.

Update!!

I am to the point where all I need to do is to mount everything and finish sleeving the PSU and then I am good to go! So I was going to plug everything in just using the wires that I haven't sleeved/resleeved just to get everything up and running, but then realized that I hadn't ordered another set of screws to run push/pull on the h100i. doh.gif So that came to a quick halt.

Anyways, here's some pics with the fans mounted.

On my intake fans I removed the ugly corsair sticker and just did some matte black vinyl over them.

The whole idea behind this was the rings so I just taped them on the other side and sharpied in the tape and it actually blends in nicely. You can't tell that its semi ghetto rigged.

Rear intake fan, there is a fan filter in between this one, and there is already one on the front fans.

And the front fans. I apologize for the crap pictures. I have been taking pictures throughout this whole process with my nice SLR and will post those as soon as I get this computer back up, seeing as how this is my photo editing computer haha. Didn't think that one through very well.

Let me know what you think!

Thanks everyone! Didn't get a ton done last night, it sucks having to wait for the simplest thing to get in!

I did get the other Samsung SSD painted and I put vinyl over the SLI bridge. I will be painting this with the same striping pattern as I did on the SSD's. I am going to have to figure out where exactly I want to mount the SSD's, still havent decided. I am thinking about putting them right beside the PSU to hide the wire mess going into the PSU there. The other place that I was thinking about was back by the motherboard right next to my SATA connections.

Quick question regarding working with acrylic. I was planning on mounting the SSD's on an acrylic sheet and cutting a couple holes in it to allow for the SATA data and power cables. What is the best tool to use for cutting the acrylic like that? Would the Dremel work well? or is there something else I should be using so I don't crack the acrylic?

Thanks,

Matt

Makes me wanna go and buy another GTX 560 ti 448 and run an SLI configuration. Too bad my motherboard doesn't support it. The green fan shroud is a nice touch. thumb.gif

Thank you!! I am really interested to see if I like these cards in SLI. I'm hoping it lets me put off the purchase of newer cards for awhile!!

I'm pretty excited about this one, I've been trying to figure out how I can make a backplate for awhile now! This happened to pop up on my eBay home page, and it was only $10!! I will use this as a template to make an acrylic version for my other card. That should be here by this weekend!

Just figured I would share my excitement!

Matt
