On another note If I end up with one of those asus 1440p g-sync monitors I'll be stuck with Nvidia for a while. Unsure of how long SLI 770's will last in the long run @1440p. frown.gif

im hoping the lightning gives the 290x the boost it needs to topple the 780ti, gk110 is fun to OC, but it gets repetitive tongue.gif

the only downside right now is prices


on both sides.


if the 290x would drop prices again i bet the 780ti would drop a bit also.

I bet we see the 290x lightning hit newegg for $800 or so because they are the scumbag price gougers of the big etailers.

Yea the whole mining excuse to raise prices is starting to piss me off as well. Just gonna sit back and wait for the market to crash so I can get some AMD GPU's on the cheap. tongue.gif

hmm , They Love memory size more than Bus width.I guest it's fine.But how much Price? CS R9 290X with 4GB (total 8GB) is better than SLI gtx 780 Ti 6GB.Just Release Maxwell!!

when you crossfire, the memory isnt added, each card can only use 4gb, so its 4gb and 4gb, not 8gb smile.gif
