Then there are also shipping discounts for having business shipping accpounts. I know this first hand dealing with shipping items on a daily basis at work. I have placed roughly 20 orders from PPCs and have never been "gauged" on shipping from them like you claim. I agree with HULK. Just because someone has a bad experience with a certain company doesn't mean that it'll be that way with everyone. Everyone makes mistakes.

of course they vary by distance. i wouldn't made the claim if i didn't factor that in.

The shipping cost have nothing to do with this thread it is the fact that he got bad bad unopened reservoir and UPS gouged him on duty fee's..... when I shop I always take into account the shipping fees and still find that PPC is very reasonable with these and my experience has been customer service is top rate!!

I wouldn't agree. In my last order I ordered two 140mm YLs. He shipped 120mms. They are $10 fans. He wanted me to pay the $20+ to ship them back before he would send me the right ones.

As for PPCS shipping prices, they are way higher for Canadians. Especially if you want insurance. I use to only ever use them but then they increased shipping prices drastically. I'll only ever use FCPU now.

I get it.
You'd rather pay $50 more for 20 fans, and pay $10 less on shipping then go on an online forum and bash Performance-pc's
But honestly. PPC's offers many more methods of shipping, and with the price you save on the items, even if the shipping was extremely overpriced, you would still save the money versus other competitors.

The picture I gave you, sure you could order USPS priority 2-3days which is 45$ and SCHEDULED delivery, not GUARANTEED or you could spend $22 FEDEX GROUND HOME on ppc's and get a guaranteed shipment in 4days for HALF the shipping cost. I still don't know why people complain about shipping biggrin.gif

I laugh at sidewinders website and never will order from them again. They sent me a metal bracket in a MAILING ENVELOPE( http://images.businessweek.com/ss/07/09/0920_material/image/9_usps_07005_034_05_01_2007.jpg) ......... I was in shock that they wanted my bracket to bend because they didn't want to pay for the shipping which I paid and was entitled to.

exactly, people have the right to know that they charge more for shipping. i'll stick with Sidewinders, you can stick to PPCS and frozenCPU where you get raped for shipping, OR you get raped for unit price. i am still gonna bash them whether you like it or not.

Everyone has a right to an opinion
They also have a right to be delusional.
Math is hard. Save $10 for shipping, spend $50 more on merchandise

Please do the community a favor and don't regurgitate this rambled opinion that performance pc's overcharges people. User error and lack of common sense results to expensive shipping.

I would have more respect for sidewinder pc's if they didn't ship me metal brackets in mailing envelopes.

I personally am not a fan of websites ran out of John Doe's server in a basement with a yahoo shopping cart.

You should work on avoiding using the word "fact" to justify it with your subjective personal experiences.

If you eat a steak at a restaurant and it does not taste good to you, that is your opinion, not a FACT

that's just your problem, you rather pay more for a box than an envelope that'll get here for cheaper. it's a metal bracket fool.

throw your money away please.... i happen to like the little guys who do this as a 2nd job and try their hardest to get you the best price and don't gauge you. but i guess that doesn't float for you. you like to pay more.

Thank you again for your hostile subjective opinion on what throwing my money away is.

If I like Charmin ultra soft I'll pay for it. Feel free to wipe with newspaper or cardboard my friend.

If I pay you $6 for a USPS Priority Flat Rate SMALL BOX I do not want to receive a $2 MAILING ENVELOPE with no packaging.
