You can contact them at 1PM eastern too. Real great for early birds biggrin.gif
You proved my point stating a USPS flat rate small box was same price as a flat rate mailing envelope.

You sit here and tell me I want my order wrapped in gold.
You find it acceptable to put metal in a envelope instead of a small box with packaging.
You are telling me ford and chevy offers the same performance for less.

You are one of the best comedians I have ran into online biggrin.gif

Please feel free to enjoy the cheaper things in life, just stay in your lane and understand 1ply toilet paper isn't 3 ply

the guy is a hobbyst with a familiy, and another job. the fact that he can import those parts for you for way cheaper than you can get else where and still get it to your house with the same packaging. yeah... i have no problem shopping there.

but based on your comparison of all three retailers, you'll pay $45 total for shipping at Frozen, $55 for shipping at PPCS, and yet still only $33 at Sidewinder. that might not be a large sum for you. but to me that's a difference of another fan or two, consider i've ordered from all three before. they all have pretty much the same packaging quality, that is if you're not expecting gold wrapped.

My post was a direct comparison of the two screenshots from performance pc's and frozencpu.

Why would I pay $50 more for 20 fans when its $50 cheaper at performance pcs?

I just posted another screenshot of how he can't import them cheaper.
Again, I don't have a problem with you shopping there. Just stop using magical numbers and rambling garbage with no logic or common sense behind it.

I have no gripe with Sidewinder at all. I've ordered from them multiple times and have only had one mistake. I emailed them and Gary, the owner, actually called me within an hour of sending the email and told me he was shipping out the correct item that day and could keep the wrong item at no charge, granted it was only a $4 item. I had it in my hands the next day, but I'm also only two hours away from them

But I'm not going to berate you for not wanting to order from them, unlike other people poke.gif

if you go by what happens to be on paper then you might say this but drive each of them for 5 years and then you are in a position to give a answer to this!!!!

i happened to have owned all Euro, Japanese, and American. service wise, they all suck. once they sell you the car, you'd be lucky to get a quality service. talking driving dynamic, YES you can get the same performance with Ford or Chevy for less, but you sacrifice interior quality and fuel economy. but if you're going for luxury and interior, you just have to go with BWM, Audi, or Merc. but you can arguable get it from Lexus for slightly cheaper. it depends on what you're looking for. and not it's not all about what's on paper, it's about being inside the car, and on the track.

One of my family members own's an Auto body repair shop which is approx 20,000sq ft.
The amount of cars I've seen, driven, helped work on you couldn't imagine
I find it comical you want to put that ford and chevrolet offer the same performance for cheaper biggrin.gif

in that case between PPCS and Frozen yeah, PPCS is the cheaper of the two. but not when you add Sidewinder into the mix. and if you did, the difference wouldn't be $50.

it's a common sense, not magical numbers. we all just did it here. sidewinder is the cheapest of the three, and will shop there until another competition beats them. nothing magical, just plain simple numbers.

and it's only rambling when you turn into one.

I have found that the people that saw cheaper is better can not actually have the more expensive option, dose not matter if we are talking about PC parts, cars, toilet tissue, restaurants, food, hotels, or anything. people that have never actually experienced and can not afford to experience the finer things in life can always find ways to bash people that can and do.

i've had different experience with smaller retailers, take the previous example i mentioned about Coolerguys, they're about as small as well, and they totally screwed me over and never shipped my item and never answered any responses. so i never did any business with them. Sidewinder happens to be a small specialty shop with good customer service in my experience. i contacted them once in regard to order info and immediate got a response within 2 hours, that was the day after Christmas. i have no problem shopping at small or large. what matters to me is i get the best prices, and the customer service is good.

My understanding of his situation also is that he paid for priority and got first class shipping instead, which is just as much to argue about. I personally have ordered metal parts and have seen them bent in shipping, including a motorcycle brake disc, so that's not an inane argument. Padded envelopes for shipping anything that is not flexible like tubing or clothing generally shows a lack of care and commitment to ensuring the product gets to the buyer just as it shipped. I've bought about $75,000 worth of product online over the last 7 years and little irks me more than finding a sheet metal piece or an iPhone glass in a padded envelope.
