Lol nope, just thought someone would have said it by now, but my original plans were to get one.

I think I will stick w/ the 6800GS for now.

Thinking of the Raidmax X1 right now because the egg is having problems (with stock) with the case I'm looking at. (last night anyway)

About 400-500 not including optical drives, hard drives, monitor, extra cooling (may set aside some more for extra/different fans), no keyboard/mouse.

http://www.overclock.net/faqs/36946-...-system-i.html

You may want to look under my FAQ. The 500>, it stays under 500 and its a conroe build. although i need to make changes on it because the motherboard i recommended is out of stock, and the conroe went up in price. Regardless, its a conroe machine that will suffice your every day needs for 500>. =)

There is also stuff like a case and so on... thus, under 500 is a bit hard.

If you don't have the budget to make upgrade soon(ish), i'd not get core 2 duo at this price, and get at least an 6800GS or 7600GT. The better video card will be nice.

I do not recommend Core 2 Duo at this budget.
