Looks like a slideshow at 60FPS

When I enable crossfire, certain games (F1 2013 in this case) will look like its running at 10 FPS everything is jittery.

Fraps shows a solid 60 with absolutely no drops at all. Even the built in benchmark shows it holds constant 60FPS everything Ultra 4xMSAA 5760 x 1080.
Yet, it's completely unplayable.

I'm currently using the beta drivers from roughly a month ago.

Is there something going on here that I'm overlooking or is this game just crap?

The crappy looking FPS isn't from youtube, it really looks that bad in person. Sorry about quality but its hard to use a controller and camera at same time.

That's poor frame pacing. Not much you can do as it's driver related.

Update the drivers. If that doesn't fix it, your only other solution is to disable crossfire and play on one card.

Just installed latest drivers and still looks the same. I checked and frame pacing is enabled.

Honestly this is rather disappointing that a 2013 game cant play properly in 2014. Not to mention the publisher (codemasters) is always pushing the AMD "gaming evolved" propaganda in their games and it wont run well on AMD. Such a shame, I really do like these 7970's.

Are cards overclocked? How much is the gpu and vram usage?

Vsync? Frame cap to 60?

Honestly I cant see that is a bad framerate at all with youtube 24fps.

Here is a benchmark of the game completely maxed settings.
Code:
<results samples="14819" min_fps="92.881401" av_fps="110.046791" min_fps_ms="10.766418" av_fps_ms="9.087044" />

As for usage, I cannot comment as I do not have the proper software to monitor that without tabing out of the game.

It doesn't look like 60FPS even though everything indicates it is well over 60. Everything jitters and looks like its playing at 10FPS.

I had this problem in Battlefield 4 when I played in Fullscreen. Even though fraps and everything said I was getting 60 FPS it didn't feel like it. I put it in Borderless and it got rid of that stuttering feel and made it smooth again.
