Big raid dummy

Thread Starter
Well as it says my first run at raid -0 for the last couple months was a flop...I thought i been in raid but this is what I think was up.

1) I had two separate drives showing And one was almost maxed and the other completely free.
2) Is it possible to somehow get a stripe on one drive??
3)My system was always glitchy and I marked it up to my ocing...But yesterday, by chance I opened disk defrag and it looked like it double striped the single drive..
4) It took me all day today to get my system running as raid -0 but now it shows one drive as 150gig instead of 2x80...did I get it right??
5)Think the couple of months of messed up data transfer caused any long term damage??

Thanks,
Dotcom

1) if you are setting up RAID, you would have to reformat both drives anyway
2) No, RAID = redundant array of independent disks
3) double striped the single drive? Huh?
4) That's right
5) No
Once again...
