CaseLabs announces the Mercury S8! - Page 135

Hi, i love these cases, but my problem is i live in europe(Czech republic)...Iam worried about shipping+tax...cause we have very stupid system here...I ordered some stuff from China 500+ usd and i must payed stupid amount for VAT+taxes. 22-150euro = only VAT 21%, all over 150e= 21%VAT+Shipping cost= price for tax( ussually 2-6%)
So i have few questions: 1. expected price for shipping to CZE?? 2. If S8 cost me a 450usd, is possible split a case for 3 boxes with price 150usd??
Thx for help

1: You can email them for a quote(like it says at the top of the Description). Shipping it to Ireland cost me 100 dollars, so 75 odd euro for me. not sure about you. probably around that figure.

2: I'm not sure I understand what you mean in your second question? you want to pay 3 separate payments of 150USD? I'm not sure what you mean.

They give you multiple shipping quotes when you email them.
I chose FedEx. only 2-5 day delivery time but currently due to the backlog it takes 10-15 working days to prepare the order.

At worst, you could get a little rubber anti-vibration foot for cabinets and such at Home Depot and put it right under the front edge of the psu, might cost $1 if you had to, but I doubt it's gonna be needed honestly.

Thank you sir. Canceling my order now with CL

I just heard back from CS support. The case will support the weight of the PSU without issue, but the Merlin mount will work with a small modification (free) if you want to use a mount. When ordering they suggested adding a comment that the mount will be used with an S8 case and they will take care of it.

I'd use these to secure the end of the PSU that's in the air:

They also have an Amazon store front.

That's exactly where I was going Ardi, but I would most likely shop ebay for something a bit cheaper. Some of those prices are a bit steep IMHO

You're right about their prices. I wish my local Home Depot would carry something like this frown.gif

Go look in the hardware section where they sell screws and replacement hardware for furniture and sliding doors and stuff, I've found items very similar in my local HD and the local Lowe's. They are usually where the "non-skid" furniture feet are!!!
