you would have to mount that from inside the right ??
crazy rolleyes.gif
Should fit from outside
The S8 ped rad mounts I have just have holes drilled (not threaded - just holes) and elongated peg locating holes in the middle.
The front section of my ped has locating pegs on both sides and threaded inserts.
The rear section just has holes.
I attach the completed rad/fan assembly from the outside of the ped.
BUT rear not got the threaded inserts - locating peg not so important.

Can get pics later to clarify if needed.

Don't worry about pics, I just looked at them in the OP, and these side mounts are different from the rest of the CL cases. So mine isn't gonna help tongue.gif sorry.

Nice!

I picked mine up today but since both me and the old lady had the day off & she wanted me to take her up to the Estes Park area (a little mountain resort town), I didn't even cut the seal yet.

I did get the other two boxes unpacked and inspected though! I knew better than to open the caselabs box tonight though, cuz I wouldn't have slept at all! Guess I will be up late tomorrow night!

Hey CL, when the S8 Tech Station be available?

So WW, did you order your first Case Labs yet? I remember we started this journey with the FT02, TJ11, and various Lian Li cases, all in search of PC case heaven.

The tech station parts need some refinement which I suggested to Kevin in an email already.
Obviously the lack of clips on the side rails for side covers to be fitted, and side covers of course.
the top rails of the front and rear section are only just folded over too, compared to the normal front and rear sections that fold over by 15mm or so and have the screw holes to secure the top section to.
At the moment The Tech Station front and backs don't have the screw holes to attach the top drop in section to...
in that pic just 2 screws each side on the upright pillars are holding the top section in place.
and that would be sufficient for the clear window top which it is sooo suited to
BUT the holes on the side pillars are not in correct location - too low, so the top section is too low and can't clip the top panel in place.
I think easiest fix for the top is some extensions (motherboard standoffs) under the roof's pegs to get the top to clip in OR drill 4 new holes so the top chassis section is at correct height.

For sure I think there would be buyers for the tech station version that had side covers available, not just an open bench

Yeah, it should be able to have side pnaels and fit the standard top panel.
Maybe that's why they still haven't release the standalone S8 Tech Station.

If they make the side panels and make mounting holes for the top panels, I would love to have a mini S8. thumb.gif

I've been caseless since November. I missed the pre-order round so now I'm just waiting for all of the accessories and options to be released, i.e. standalone S8 Tech station. Also the processing times are insane so that's why I can wait a bit longer. But I will pull the trigger on a S8 or SMH10/TH10 later this month. It's been a long time coming, I bought so many cases, but I've yet to own a CL case.
