You're welcome to, but you might get more exposure in the water cooling section or Intel/AMD build logs.

I'd put it here
More exposure

Thanks - I'll set up in the Intel forum you listed as it is a 4770K build and there are plenty of other CL builds to use as templates for the layout. This will be a copper tube, dual pump, 2x360 in a white S8.

I'll look for it. There are so many crazy good Caselabs builds going on right now.

It shouldn't be too long... subject to Customs entering the UK. The build will be a straight transplant of my current single-780ti into the S8, dual 360s in push/pull and a change from single D5 to dual D5.

I went for the all-white case, extended top, standard window plus vents on left/right, vented front and vented flex bay (no rad mount - I can always add it in the future). The fans will be all Noctua (since we can't easily get GTs at the moment) and I will be investigating MDPC sleeving once it is up and running. Tubing will be polished 12mm copper.

So I got my S8 on Saturday and put it together. I love every aspect of this case, minus my one boo-boo on my order...

I've decided I really dislike my USB 3.0 front panel choice. My mobo only has 1 USB 3 header and the cables are too big and bulky to hide easily in the case. With that being said, I want to order another switch panel without the I/O ports.

Can anyone tell me which plate(s) I need for my kit? I see an option for the S8 switch mount and for the no I/O plate. Do I need both, or just the no I/O plate?

Also, while I'm in the process of ordering the new plate, I figured I'd pick up an SSD mount for the HDD cage, but I had one question. Does the SSD mount offset the drives in a manner so that the SATA and Power inputs of the 2 SSD's will line up with the HDD's? The drive cage doesn't seen to be setup to do this from the pics, but I wanted to make sure. If it doesn't align the cables, I'll probably end up using the stealth mount instead. That may be something to consider down the road if the current cage doesn't line the inputs up. I know Silverstone makes a cage that will line the inputs up with a standard 3.5" SATA hard drive.

One other small observation concerning the stealth SSD setup...The holes for the SSD inputs should be made slightly larger so that you don't need either L-shaped or short SSD connectors. Also, I couldn't get my PSU SATA connectors connected due to their longer size as well. Lengthening the holes an extra inch or so would greatly help with this issue I've run into.

Hi,

It's been stated here by CaseLabs to use the message system on the CaseLabs site for best results. Just sign in to your account to post a message. As you can imagine, Monday's a mad dash to catch up so your result may be realized faster. They will get to you here eventually though.

Enjoy your new case! Build log?

I'm debating the build log...I don't have a good camera, which is what makes build logs very special to me. I'm still waiting on a couple of parts to come in, and one part in particular to be released the EKWB RIVBE block which should come out this week hopefully

I checked my email this morning and saw the three favourite words of every CaseLabs customer... OUT. FOR. DELIVERY.

By some unspoken accord between the FedEx delivery driver and my wife (who knows that I am very bad when it comes to waiting for deliveries), the box arrived at my door at 09:15! It was in perfect condition - not a mark anywhere... every corner intact too.

I am happy to report that everything inside was immaculate. Not a dent, ding or bend anywhere despite the trip across the Atlantic and all accessories were precisely as ordered. My next step is to crack on with the assembly and charge the camera batteries prior to making a Build Log thread in the Intel forum.

Thank you CaseLabs - a perfect and timely order and another CaseLabs virgin ticked off the list!
