is there a noticable difference between the true quality, high quality. what kind of write speed would you need for those 2? and should i check the compress box also should i record in avi or rawcap? i have the space for rawcap and il be doing alot of editing so i think it would be better. what do you think?

Honestly? There is not much of a difference in my opinion. I mean if you really look closely you might see a small difference here and there, but it's nothing you should really worry about. I wouldn't recommend using the compress option. Make sure you use all your processing threads. It's in Advanced settings iirc and it should be 4 in your case.

You wanna go with AVI.

When two or more storage is used, RawCap is used.
The writing speed can be increased by using two or more storage.
High-speed storage is necessary to record the data of the high-bit rate.

No, it's called "Processing Threads" and you can choose from 1 up to 4 in your case. The version of Dxtory I'm using is 2.0.122 for your information.

You can use dxtory with the lagarith codec or you can use shadow play since you have a 670 with no impact on performance.

I've heard it's pretty damn good especially when it comes down to file size! If I'd have had an Nvidia card I would definitely give it a try it might even outperform Dxtory.

3570s don't multitask as well as a 3770 will. You will never be satisfied if you're trying to get your 3570 to perform as a 3770 when it comes to playing games and recording them, the multithreading isn't there. That being said I've always preferred dxtory. Lagarith lossless codec is for old games like Doom, or webbrowser games like happy wheels. What codec I use for my games, borderlands 2, bf4, 3, smite, almost everything else, is Utvideo YUV codec. It's great, not taxing on your system, awesome quality, small files. UtVideo YUV codec!!!
