3 x R9 290's Not detected?

I can't get my motherboard to post when it has even 1 card plugged into the 16x slot using a 16x riser.

But when I use my 1x risers instead of my 16x risers and plug the cards in the first pci 1x slots then the 16x slot and then the next pci 1 1x slot they seem to work. I have a hard time believe all 3 of my 16x risers are defective need a solution for this.

msi z87-g55 is the motherboard along with the cheapest haswell pentium.

Do you have the 4-Pin Molex on the motherboard plugged in? It is there to provide more power to the GPU when running ins SLI, It should be near the I/O Ports near the first PCI-Express x16 3.0, and make sure you have a 3rd generation i5, because they have issues with older models and SLI/Crossfire.

They run fine they have been mining for the past 2 days in the first 3 slots its just whenever i plug them in to the 16x slots or any other configuration the motherboard does weird ****.

Cards work when i plug into the 16x slot directly but as soon as i use a 16x riser it won;t post really weird. When i try 1x riser it does the same but when i have 3 cards plugged in the first 1x slot then the 16x slot then the next 1x slot it goes into windows but it doesn't display the post process.
