Radeon HD6900 Todays Equivalent

Thread Starter
Hey all,

My current graphics card a radeon HD 6900 is on the fritz. I am looking for a new card. Due to other hardware restrictions it can't be to much more powerful than it is now. Was it the equivalent card in recent graphic card releases.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks.

The closest gpu amd wise would be between the R7 260X and the R9 270X, I would go for the 270X thumb.gif

What restriction would limit you like this? Power requirements on larger cards has gone down so in theory there should not be much of a restriction. I agree however that bang for the buck the R9 270 is hard to beat.
