Do I have a heat issue with my cpu or my cooler? - Page 2

I decided to take it off and snap some pics to show you how everything looks.

You can't really see the tinting on the CPU all that well, but I did do it...

This is the setup that was reaching 89 - 86 - 80 - 75 across the cores within 45 seconds of starting OCCT (and it took most of that time to run up the ram to 90%) frown.gif

I know there is a little bit missed on the bottom edge, would that be the issue?

Also, the milling on the H100i heat sink looks particularly nasty, should I be sanding this? (lapping?)

Have you checked that the pump speed is running at normal speeds? I'm not familiar with the AIO cooling solutions but is 900RPM thaqt max fan speed for those fans?

Probably most important, what is your ambient temperature?

^ max speeds for those fans is 1300rpm I believe. You can see the system winding them up as the test begins.. they idle at ~550rpm and work up as the temps were rising. The H100i never went over 32 degrees regardless of what the fan speed was set to.

Ambient temperature is 20 celsius
