Should I

I play BF4 at 2560x1440 with everything set to High no differed AA but high Post AA. I use adaptive v sync and I get usually 55-60 fps on most maps. But their are times are certain maps like the new china raising maps with lots of jungle its gets really choppy at times which annoys me. I was thinking about selling my 770 2gb for around $280 and picking up a gtx 780. Would a 780 solve those choppiness problems or am I just blowing smoke thinking a 780 will fix that....

At that res, a 780 will surely help. Them again, is $500 worth it over your current 770? That's up to you.

I personally upgraded from a decently overclocked 7970ghz edition to a 290x (at launch, before the price hike) and I only play at 1080p and the upgrade IMO was well worth it. Then again, I like to play at 150% res scale (super sampling AA)

I got the Evga 780 SC dual fan for $500 shipped. I sold my 770 for $300. So it was $200 out of pocket.
