Try updating your Motherboard's BIOS? Maybe it just doesn't like the RAM for some reason.

Sorry, I forgot that has to do (or at least I think that has to do) with the multiplier on the CPU. My 805 has a x20 multiplier which works out to full memory speed when overclocked.

In order to achieve a stable overclock so you can get the memory frequency up you may need to change your memory timings. Make them a bit looser or in other words make the numbers higher.

Other than that, you may be handcuffed into waiting until you can grab a Pentium D 820 or higher or 9xx series

Last message from Gigabyte staff:

Due to chipset (Intel 865 series) architecture limitation, DDR 400 memory module is only supported when using FSB 800 Pentium 4 processor. A FSB 533 Pentium 4 processor will support DDR333 and DDR266 memory module. A FSB 400 Pentium 4 processor will only support DDR 266 memory module.
