I recently replaced my motherboard with an Asus Maximus V Formula board and got windows running. Everything worked fine for a day, but when I went to update the BIOS before I overclocked my i5-2500k the update utility in the BIOS said it successfully updated. However when I restart, I get the ROG logo telling me to press DEL to enter the bios and then it loads into the bios anyways. The LED indicator on the board gives the error code A2, which is IDE Detect. I changed my drive to IDE vs AHCI but that didn't work. I reset the CMOS with the button on the motherboard and on booting up I get the American Megatrends screen saying please enter setup to recover BIOS setting, press F1 to run setup. Rebooting after that loads straight into the bios again, and clearing the CMOS again takes me to the press F1 to run window again. The motherboard LED still says q-code A2. I have tried multiple BIOS versions, including the one I was on before I updated, and nothing works anymore. How can I fix this so my computer will actually boot into windows????
