It would be quite useful if I can start preparing BBQ on top of the CPU if it still that hot tongue.gif

But yea, till now, it does look sexy, with all the fittings, it gives engine feel.

But I love your triple Titan more biggrin.gif:D:D
Yeah, builds like these are quite a commitment especially in Australia where parts aren't that easy to come by especially the more obscure stuff. Temps over here in Perth got to 45 on saturday! so no benchmarking for me. what sort of temps are you getting on that CPU? I'm running my 3930k @4.8 24/7 and even under load during benching and gaming it wont break 60c, 5GHZ benching it'll hit low 80s but thats to be expected I guess.

I wish I had taken a little more time and care when building mine and taken some good photos for a build log, but I just didn't have the time or a decent camera.

Take it easy fellow Aussie:thumb:

I over heard Perth still quite hot, my mate told he was on fire last week and maybe over cooked abit smile.gif

The temperature you stated here makes me jealous mate (Mouth dripping biggrin.gif). sub 60 for cpu @4.8 while stressing....

Please let me know your settings smile.gif and show me some photo of your please

My best record for now is 78 degree @4.6G at 1.234v on vcore, @4.5g uncore 2400mhz ram after 8 hours of IBT.

Trying to improve it to somewhere around 60 @4.7 or 4.8 if I could make that happen.

Those photos are from my phone mate. It is too much hassle to take a decent camera while building this thing.

Cheers mate thumb.gif

Ill see if I can take some screen shots of temps tonight, but still there is a big difference between Sandy and Ivy. My 3930 needs 1.38Vcore for 4.8 and 1.53Vcore for 5.0 where my mates only needs 1.34 for 4.7 but hes on air and doesn't want to push past due to thermals. I'm not a big fan of running long stress tests. I've had some decent runs of Prime 95 for several hours but don't really see the point in 8 and 10 hour stress tests.

thanks mate,
The hours of prime 95 maybe needed by some but not all, for me, I would like a oc'ed system with as much stability as it could. The reason is I hate when I worked hours on a project and bsod leave me nothing smile.gif
For temperature testing, you can either try prime95 or aids64 sfp only, that black magic could show you the highest temperature with your current setup in few minutes.
I would like to see more photos of your rig too, that's some nice place for your res;)

Yeah no worries mate that side on picture is old. When I recently installed the third Titan I took the liberty of removing any flexible hosing around the CPU, VRM and chipset blocks and replaced them with matte black snake connectors other solid fittings, made for a cleaner look. Ive been meaning to upload some more pictures for a while will probably do it tonight or tomorrow because I have some red cold cathodes to install for a nice red glow.:-)

omg, those finest snake fittings are such nice piece to have.

On the otherhand, I was trying to make my loop looks more straightened and more engine like:)

Its so hot here, 30 degrees + indoor when I get back home and it is much hotter outside.
Luckily I have a AC here smile.gif it is much nicer and cooler than before now, but still 28-30 from my reading.

I am looking forward to your pictures too smile.gif I love red glow:p:p

Thanks mate, yea, I was trying to make it clean, just got the waterblock for my R6E and working on it at the moment, hopefully I can set the loop up in next few hours before I go bed

Heyyyyyy, I just can't wait to get home and opened the package, rip the motherboard from the case and take off those stock cooling component (sounds really violent, am I tongue.gif)

I was kidding about my action, but I was really excited for about this block.
It may not give better performance, but it does give the rig engine feeling more smile.gif

It does took me awhile to get the motherboard off the case.
And I need to take off every other part too....Oh thats really tough work under hot weather like today (maybe 40 ish outside and 30+ indoor when I get back home)
I was sweating while working on this baby tongue.gif

But well, look, isn't bad, is it?

And I am putting the other parts back to it one by one

After played around abit with the loop, I decided to change the tube linked to res from my RAM. Instead of using 45 degree fitting I decide to use 90. It does improve the look by a lot in my opinion.

After few hours on this build, I finally managed to put all stuff back into the case and wrapped all fittings with my "DEAR" kitchen paper smile.gif well extra caution never hurt, isn't it.

Those paper towel can help me identify if there is a leaking. It looks like bit over kill here, but I am using fittings instead of normal tubing, so wrapped it like a Christmas snow ball is needed smile.gif

And the water goes like this smile.gif

I will leave the pump run over night to bleed out the most air out my loop and will start stressing it soon.
It is pain in my butt every single time to refill the loop and now my butts are on fire smile.gif
Hoping this time I can get some better temperature
(Defiler2k please let me know what will be a good temperature in your mind for a 4.7G/4.8G cpu in a 30+ ambient temp room)

I think thats all update for my Monster On FIRE for tonight.
I have also done some small update on my M-ITX build (Click here)

Tomorrow I should have more to update, there will be another package arrive tomorrow.

I might work on the cable management or stressing tests.

Either way it gonna be a big day for me smile.gif

Thanks guy for your supports here.

Thanks again

Rule of thumb for CLU: IF you can pull it with the brush, it is too much.

Oh sorry, I just realized your CPU is over 5GHZ, OMG, please let me know your setting as well, I would like to try it on mine.
And is there any secret tip you can give smile.gifthumb.gif

Have you bled the air out already or are you just going to leave it running all night with air in the lines?
Quote:
I will leave the pump run over night to bleed out the most air out my loop and will start stressing it soon.

Sorry if you already know this but the pumps wont just push the air out with out some help. You need to shake it around a bit and cycle the pump on and off to dislodge any air pockets hiding in those rads. Sorry for stating the obvious if you already knew this, I just stressed out when you said you were going to leave it on all night to bleed the air.
