Pretty much what I expected, the 7850 is bottlenecked by DDR3 it seems.Wished they had paired the 7850k with 7750 GDDR5 for comparison.

Still though, it doesn't seem to be able to shake off the i3 in single or multi tasks though the major iGPU is a bonus. Interested to see when the CPU only version comes out or the 7770k and using that with a R9 270x+ card. Want to see some single-threaded tasks though

Quite a bit slower then expected. Still slower then Nehalem OCed vs OCed, and locked Sandy/Ivy i5/i7 CPUs can be OCed 4x bins over turbo speed. So doesn't come close to them either.

Good thing my temp 5800K build was DOA, and I ended up with other stuff instead.

cpu end is a bit underwhelming still better than an i5-2400 both at stock.
And of course the A8-7600 is still an amazing deal.

Mantle and a 250X (oland based 512SP chip a lot like the 7750) might do that but we have to wait and see mixing with a 260x will guarantee those frames..

I remember back in 2001 I predicted that we would be able to play Doom at 100fps on a tablet....
New prediction: We'll be able to play Crysis 3 on a tablet in 10 years.Kaveri's helping us get there, but we might still need a few more node shrinks and tons of competition.

With the speed things are going people being able to play really demanding games on that mullins discovery tablet I'm quite sure it'll be just 3/4 years from now.
