Strange PC issues, not sure of the origin.

After booting up my PC 10 to 50 min later or depending on if I am gaming, the PC will slowing freeze. I am able to move the mouse and hit the start button, but nothing else will work. My peripherals will disconnect and eventually I have to force restart. Does anyone know what the issue could be? I recently swapped to new RAM so that cant be the issue.

My Rig:
i7-4770k
MSI Z87-G45 Motherboard
GTX 770 FTW
16GB Corsair Dominator Platinum 2133 Mgz 16GB (2x8)
RM750 PSU
Samsung 840 Pro- WD Black 2TB
Corsair h100i
7 Total installed system fans.

Also, I believe all drivers are up to date.

Did it do this before you swapped the memory? Some boards can't run higher clock frequencies without a little tuning. Like higher than default DRAM voltages.

Ok, I will definitely try that, could their be any other explanation or problem though?

It was happening a week ago when I had Corsair Vengeance 4x4 16GB 1600 mghz normal RAM. Now even with the new ones I got, it still happens.

Have you double checked all your connections. Many times when someone comes here with this problem one of their connections was loose. Like a PCI-E cable not fully plugged into the GPU as an example.

Have GPU-Z and Task Manager open side by side, and see if either one of them is pegged when the freeze happens.

There are coin mining malwares out there that will siphon off processing power. Recently Yahoo had a malware ad that distributed bitcoin mining bots, and this sort of performance issue can result.

Ok, also, does this problem by any chance have anything to do with the fact that my drives share the same ATA channel?
