ok my buddy from work says hes going to get rid of his rig and has sold all parts except one, wich is a 1950 xtx ati card and well i dont know if thats any better then my 7950 gt OC. (not familiar with ATI ) and well would i see a big boost in performace our is that card just about the same as mine.

I dont know about with that processor, but if you planning on going Core 2 Duo soon then yes you would (because your card could reach its full potential). The 1950 xtx is the rival to the 7950GX2, which are both the top dogs of directX9.
