The new 144hz BenQ monitor is supposed to have a really good TN panel. BenQ in general is known for good TN panels and Linus (Linus Tech Tips, etc) reviewed it recently and said it was the best TN panel he's ever seen. He's pretty much seen it all and like me, he loves the beauty of IPS panels, so it takes a lot to impress him.
I've used the IPS Panel he uses, the Acer 23 H236HL inch or H276HL bmid. Those monitors have good colors but terrible deep blacks.
The monitor I really want to own is the Dell S2440L
I've seen it in person and it is much better than IPS Panels. It's a VA LED screen and it has the best deep blacks and colors I have ever seen, the only downside is it doesn't have a Display Port and it's glossy finish is bad if you set it near a light source.
And as far as I know. TN Panels are made for gaming, so the colors on them look bad, even though they do have superior respond times.
