Should I wait or go for a r9 270x

I have a budget of $350-400, due to the lite coin mining, the pricing of the 280x and 290 have gone up by $100. I looked at the 270x toxic and it had good price/perf ratio. Any advice on if I should wait for price drops or just get the 270x.

Specs
3570k @ 4.5ghz
8gb 1866
EVGA 750w 80+ Gold
MSI GTX 560
MSI z77 gd65

I'd say wait for the 280x to drop in price, if not do what Pontiac says and wait until next year when we should get a full lineup of Hawaii cards and not just rebrands

Depends on your gaming needs, a 270X can give really solid game play at 1080.

I would be playing bf4 at 1080p, what about buying the 270x, and saving the rest for pirate island?

your 560 is faster than my HD7770 and it should play it at High settings.
