Future of 3D gaming? 1440p and 4K 3D monitors?

You guys know already that those higher resolution monitors like 4K and 1440p have been out for some time now. NVIDIA is now integrating G-Sync to new monitors coming to market, but why don't i see no improvement whatsoever with 3D monitors and Nvidia 3D vision?

So do you guys think there will be any 3D monitors with higher resolutions than 1080p? I really wanna see 3D and G-Sync together on one but at least change a bit more that resolution perhaps 1440p. 1080p is getting a bit old! Of course newer 3D monitors will require more gpu power in higher resolutions but there will be always improvement in gpus and more performance output as years progress...

I think your confusing technologies and how they relate. As long as displays have the refresh rate to support 3d shutter technology(above 60htz, more likely 120htz), you will see 3d applications pop up. Will we see as many of them moving forward? Not very likely. 3D was the buzzword of 2012 and it never caught on.
