Software that tells mermory usuage

Thread Starter
Hey, recently i discover that my new system is using much more memory than old system, and using same programs as old system, (old system got 250mb memory, and only used up 200mb memory) whereas this new system is using 650+mb memory, so my question is,
Q1. Is there a software that will tell me which program running in windows is taking up how much memory ? task manager doesnt show all programs using that much memory, cuz i add them all up and does not equal to the amount used.

The memory on your old system may have used the windows fileing page (something like that, commonly refered to as Swap in the linux world, just can think of windows term right now)

I'm pretty sure no matter how much ram you have, some of it will be free.

Don't try to get rid of windows paging file ( i think thats it), programs store memory in there even if they need it or not (Pretty sure once again).
