Switched Cases, No Longer Booting

Thread Starter
I just switched cases, but now my computer isn't seeing Windows 8 anymore :|

I went into the BIOS, and it sees the SSD. I'm not sure what's going wrong confused.gif

Any suggestions?

I have an older OS boot on my HDD, and the computer saw that. I'm not sure why the boot on the SSD disappeared :/

Might be defaulting to the HDD because of the sata order, are you able to pick the ssd from manual boot?

Nah, I disabled the other drives. It works now :|

I'm not sure. I just swapped cables. I guess maybe the cable wasn't in all the way? How does BIOS detect the drive, but not access it? I figure it either all works or not at all?

Theres an order it reads the drives, if you look next to the SATA ports on the mobo it should say 0|1|2|3 etc

Edit: At least by default anyhow, you can change the boot order

What board is it?

You need to set up the boot order to see your SSD first.

Yea, I had it set to that before. It must have been a loose connection.
