Upgrading my PC

Thread Starter
Hi there!

I'm going to update my PC in 1-2 months, and I've selected some new components.
I would like you to give me feedback on the components I have picked.

My current rig:

GeForce GTX570 DirectCUII 1.28GB
Cooler Master Big Tower HAF X
Cooler Master PSU GX-750W (edited)
Intel Core i7 875K 2.93GHz 2.5GT/s 8MB
Intel DH57DD iH57
Kingston 2x4GB, DDR3, PC10666
Western Digital Harddisk 3.5" 2TB

What I've picked to upgrade: (The site I'm buying them on is 4Launch, the Newegg links are for English only users)

GTX770 DCII OC 2GB
https://www.4launch.nl/shop/#p-4-productid-140573
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814121770

Intel Core i5 4670k 3.40GHz 6mb
https://www.4launch.nl/shop/#p-4-productid-140061
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819116899

MSI Z87-G43 Gaming
https://www.4launch.nl/shop/#p-4-productid-144681
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813130726

Samsung SSD 2.5", 250GB, SATA600, 840 EVO Desktop Kit
https://www.4launch.nl/shop/#p-4-productid-142794
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820147253

RAM will come later
My current budget is 800 EUR
This combination of components costs +- 785 EUR

My questions are following
Are the selected components up to date?
Is it worth replacing with my selected component(s)?
Can I get better value for the same/lower price?

Why are you "uprading" to a slower CPU?
Why are you changing motherboards?

Is it truely slower, gaming wise? (I'm asking you, my knowledge isn't that extensive)
I've been told my motherboard is fairly crappy. It has no usb 3.0 and the RAM slots only support up to 1333 MHz. (Yes, I plan on overclocking)

Bronze rated.

And thanks for the welcome.

While the bronze rated GX is not outright crap like the old one was its still not a great PSU

If you want an upgrade to make your PC better one of the things you should get as well is a new PSU

You dont even need more then 550 watts unless you is going to overvolt your video card or have two of them
