So , basically, I need to upgrade my video card to play Star Citizen and those 2 are the best I can afford! What do you guys think? (maximum of 175$)

They are about equal so go with one that's cheaper.

The R9 270X is faster than the GTX 660 by some margin, the GeForce is comparable to the HD 7850. No contest here. thumb.gif

Dude get the 270x....I maybe a little bias because I have an Asus top oc edition. But best 200 bucks I've spent.

The r9 270(x)/hd 7870ghz because the 660gtx has a build-in bottleneck for its 192bits which wont have tje enough bandwidth for the last 512mb of memory

HD7870 it's around 50$ cheaper in here than the 270x / gtx660. I'll go for that and overclock the hell out of it. Thanks guys!thumb.gif
