Kraken X60 vs. Glacer 240L

Thread Starter
Looks like my local Microcenter just got a few Glacer 240Ls in stock -- I've looked for reviews via "the Google" to see if there are any that compare it to the Kraken X60, which I am currently using -- but I can't seem to find any decisive info. I'm not sure if popping off 139 bucks would be wise if it's just a sidegrade at the moment (although the expandability aspect is nice). Regardless, I'll be heading there later to check out a few other things, as they picture (assumingly incorrectly) the MCR320QP as the version with the built-in pump/res for 60 bucks. If that is actually what they have, it's a steal, and I'll just buy a CPU block and call it a day. If it's the standard version, I'll consider using it in place of the stock Glacer rad.

What sayeth thou, OCN?

The Glacer 240L is a rebranded Swiftech H220 with a bit higher pump speed profile. There's a whole big long thread about it here http://www.overclock.net/t/1367654/swiftech-h220-h320-and-cm-glacer-240l-360l-owners-club Owners can maybe help you with any questions.

I can't justify the swap, marginal if not any difference in performance. Unless you are looking for expandability then I would keep it.

Here's a video but with the Corsair H110(practically the same thing with different fans).
