Having trouble with Audio Technica ATH A700

Thread Starter
Whenever its plugged into the headphone jack it doesn't transmit the full audio. Voices are normally extremely muffled. If I put a little bit of pressure on the jack while its in there, the audio gets louder and the voices come back in.

Any ideas what is going on? If I need to provide further information I can.

sounds like there is a break /short at the plug (if messing w / pushing on plug makes sound come back.)

which is actually kinda good cause of the potential problems this one would be one of the easier to repair..

Red is left oddly enough. As the Lug that connects in the Center is actually Left channel (Tip), but either way its wired correct.
