That is way to cheap. You can buy the 84 inch 2013 version for $39,000 right now. No they really will sell it at that price and it WILL sell.

Where I live I was just looking at a 3,700 Sq Ft 5 bedroom 3 bath 3 car garage, built in the last decade, supreme build quality. Cost was $320,000. Where I live in Oregon we have not the highest cost of properties, but towards the higher end for Oregon.

Heck, 45 minutes East of where I live a new build house was on the market for $150,000. It was a 2900 Sq Ft 3 bedroom 2 bath, it was just out in a small town kind of in the middle of nowhere.

Vancouver has the second highest cost of living in the world behind China. Vancouver also has the highest cost of property in North America (honestly, a crackhouse close to Vancouver would sell for like $1.5 Million, no joke). Toronto is second in Canada. If you move away from those 2 cities, the prices of houses goes down dramatically though.

As for the TV, Samsung said that the price of 4K TVs is going to fall much more than consumers expect them to to in 2014. I think in 2015 we'll have very affordable 4k.

I'm an hour/50km north of Toronto and prices are about 400k CAD for the town/semi detached. Prices near the city... you don't want to know. There was this small bungalow that sold for 1 or 1.1 mil because it was by the subway and there is major development going on.

Not just Toronto too

But Toronto is disgustingly over priced for real estate!!!

True dat. I own a 3 bedroom house. Was $107,000. Now just need to convince the Mrs. that t.v would somehow be a good investment. biggrin.gif
