For those who want some benches while straddling uncomfortably on the fence this week, I'll give you the deets.

Funny enough I won about $1200 on the lottery Sunday (strangely I won $10,000 on a scratch ticket about this time last year as well, I guess January - February is my new favorite month) and as such I have enough to get effectively half my build up and running a week before I expected too. So tomorrow, as long as Microcenter actually has it in stock, I'll be able to get Kaveri, best motherboard available (the ASrock one), highest frequency ram it can reasonably take, better radiator for my custom loop (so down the road I'll have a 360 and a 240 to cool an R9 290 and a high midrange APU tongue.gif yes I realize this is overkill but eff it, we are the definition of overkill, we are OVERCLOCK.NET), and some extra compression fittings.

Either way till next week it will be interesting to bench this thing with an Overclocked Nvidia Card. For reference my 2GB 670 is 1280mhz +155 ram.

About a week from now I'll have a waterblocked 290 (may as well shell out for the Visiontek considering it's about the same price as a stock one at this point at $550 and it will save me the hassle of ordering it separately, so hopefully they restock it by then on the website) a Qnix 1440p monitor, and a better power supply to complete things.

So hang tight, if everything goes the way I want it tomorrow I'll be benching about the highest end system that no one in their right mind would ever bother to put in an APU in for you guys in the AMD CPU forum by about 4 or 5 pm EST.

Newegg prices are a bit hefty, especially for Canadians...

$200 (226 with tax) for Kaveri....going to opt for something second-hand methinks..

Normally this is solved (for those of us near the border) by hopping over to the US and buying stuff. With the crappy exchange rate, it would be $208 from the states...

I don't even want to know what it's costing in the UK...
