Hmmm, a bit higher than I expected. Still I'm more interested in the 7700k, not too bothered about the IGP being the be all end all (gonna slap a R9 280x in it anyway)

Whoops, I meant the 7700k, clearly not awake as I thought

What a weird launch. Why are these on sale and no mainstream site has reviews up yet ?

No Anandtech, no Tech Report, no Tom's Hardware, no TechPowerUp, no Hardware Canucks, no PC Perspective, etc.

Interestingly, as I write this, the A10-7850K you linked to does not show up if I search for it on Newegg's search engine. But the A10-7700K does.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819113360

Edit: the A10-7850K does show up in the list when I search for the A10-7700K though, must be an database error.

Because as proven in the other thread, some people will buy it regardless of how it performs. I don't understand why but it's a thing. Happened during bulldozer release too.

Yes, but my perspective is this: why doesn't the NDA lift right now ? If someone manages to buy one at retail, mainstream sites may get beaten to the punch with a review by an enthusiast or even a site not bound by the NDA. It doesn't make any sense for the NDA to still be up.

The NDA should lift in around 3 hours.

Enthusiast reviews made in that short of a time wont get a significant amount of views and wont affect the big sites...

I would've bought it from Tiger since they've improved their site but Christmas left me with a Newegg Gift Card. So I bought my a10-7850k there. I hope BF4 is included inside of the packaging of the processor and not some side package thing. If it isn't included ooh well.

At this point I think it's pretty irrelevant if it's going to perform like Richland or 30% better. The only reason to buy one at these prices is if you're looking to use the igpu for gaming purposes. Otherwise you might as well pony up the extra $30-40 and buy a 4670K.
