This. So much this. Most review sites just do what is being asked above and as a result, "i3 causes bottlenecks" etc crap. The point being, people (including myself) just want to know whether or not such budget CPUs can drive a mid to high-end graphics card without significant bottlenecks. Games like Skyrim which are heavily CPU intensive are not indication of this either. Therefore, kudos to FlanK3r. thumb.gif

So what if the i3 wins? Its stronger on a situation that you shouldnt really be. Okay i3 wins so what? Go back to 1080p that the results are completely different. You learned anything? No.

As a point of reference he can do it but the results are useless for any data

people want a lowend gpu(integrated to the apu`s to play under/at 1080p. thumb.gif

And ofcourse you will know what`s the best card that can handle without bottleneck at 1080

Yeah, I wanted to upgrade my CPU but didn't know how good these are compared to my current one. I'm unable to find a chart which actually provides me a clear picture. My i3 can keep up on avg. fps but at some points, in some games there are slow-downs here and there mainly because of only 2 physical cores.

I'm one of those who consistently keep monitoring hardware utilization, my HWiNFO + RivaTuner OSD is almost on all the time. This mostly happened on Crysis 3 at demanding situations. I know I need a quad-core CPU badly.

Even with my Core 2 Quad crysis 3 went bad... its the HD 7850 not the CPU thumb.gif

Thread Starter
Gaming with low resulution +dedicated highend GPU for CPU performance is right, but no logic for practice.
It is as rendering with 1 core with 8 thread CPU or so. Non sense, only interesting.
