Hey guys biggrin.gif

so I'm new in overclocking , and the idea just came up today , so I overclocked my gpu " hd 7850 "

the problem is when I used heaven benchmark I got a bad score " unlike the picture I saw in the internet of the result "

this is my gpu with 1.195 volt

and this is the result from heaven:

why does my gpu have such bad performance ?

*note : my cpu is : i5 3470
* ram : 8 g

It could be that it's not stable. Or, it could be your power supply.

What have you done to test the stability of your 7850? Be as specific as you can.

What is the make and model of your power supply?

It's just I think the volt is high for what it gives , this is best overclock I could get with that volt , if I put it 1170/1370 it crashes.
You have to increase the power limit.plus try occt to check if its stable.

and how can I do that ? i'm using trixx
You can do it in overclocking>borad power limit

On Catalyst on performance .

You mean amd overdrive ? but if I did it will it effect the overclock for trixx ? because i think when I hit apply it will apply the values of gpy clocl / memory also

and what should I put ? 20% ?

also what does this do exactly ? my card is stable , so this will effect the performance ?
I think that you have to Apply where you have your frecuencies and voltage set at.yes you should put 20%

The power limit increase the quantity of power(not power consumption)that you gpu will handle.your gpu throttles beause your TDP limits you to a lower than your voltage need and for that the performance is worse.increasing this leave you more TDP for ocing more

League of Legends does not stress the video card at all.

Are you saying that you ran Heaven, Furmark and Skyrim for 1 hour simultaneously?

The GS600 isn't great, but it's not bad. This is good.
