Hi,

I am thinking about getting 2 x E5-2687W ES and was wondering, if a ES CPU is any good in general, or should I stay away?!

ES chips are usually good enough for being used as retail but can be a bit different the retail chips. They should be perfectly fine to run in any system so I would go for it if you are getting a good price on them.
