As long as a stinger is at least 50mm across (Looks like it probly is), with some time invested I'm sure you could get the job done, you will need to mount a cold-plate between the pelt and the cpu though to help transfer heat, and this assembly will need to have a fair amount of pressure keeping it all together for it to work well.

Insulation is essential.

Know about the pressure and insulation,
If the cold plate matches the pelt but is slightly
larger than the WB......is it good to go??

I would suggest you have it covered on both sides. Why? Because the overhang that you have that isn't contacting the waterblock will affect performance.

I would talk to freddy about doing a block that can fit such a big peltier in it, and then see what he quotes you. You can always sell the D/O, I can imagine it would fetch still quite a bit of money, to help pay for the "Fat" Stinger.

The 226W one would it's 50x50....Fred said the new V-8 would be 2x2-1/4" so it would cover it...The V-6 is 2x2"....They did have some 320W ones there that were 2x2"....We need to get "Potted Peltiers", quit laughing I'm serious.......They are condensation proofed with silicone or epoxy..I don't know if we can seal them our selves or not.....They need to be the same size so that the whole thing can be crushed, to work right...Hope I can find another 320W that size....

Sell the D/O!

Anyway, if its not totally covering it all the energy can't be removed (which is bad obviously) and won't cool as well.
