HSA has nothing to do with dGPU at this point in time.

Also i asked for proof not a weak review. that their source does nothing to prove your point.

Maybe you need to look at the nice chart from AMD the page I referenced

Since the 7750/7730 = 250 and 7770 = 250x they were made before the Bonaire and are just carry overs from the HD7xxx with tweaks.

Plus the key sign it's GCN 1.1 is true audio

TrueAudio Technology No No No Yes Yes

are you dense?

their source does not back up that information.

Seeing as their source AMD's website.. (which does not specify GCN version)

but it does specify that there are GCN 1.1 functionality in the XDMA enable crossfire.

and as I've proved with a reputable source (anandtech) XDMA is a feature of GCN 1.1 first featured in r9 290X.

HD7700 series require Xfire bridge (cept maybe 7790) while the updated cards do not.

this if you reason with simple logic,

These are not mere rebrands. They have been update with new features.

please find a reputable source to argue this with. (your source is inaccurate as they can not prove what their claim about GCN 1.0)

True audio is also NOT gcn 1.1, it is an additional technology they are adding to the new cards. (this isn't even dealt with by the GPU there is a DSP on the cards to deal with that in a dedicated way )

Yes they have updates to them but not GCN 1.1.

Maybe you don't realize is AMD updates there websites very often. And the chart was pulled from AMD before they changed information to current line up.

yes i realize they are updating them Very often. as an avid AMD user I am frequently on their site.

and you are trying to tell me that within 3-5 days I wouldn't notice this?( that article was posted 3 days ago and i'm giving the author a two day windows for edits.)

when it is one of the MAIN features i am Intending on testing out when my processor is replaced (likely currently undergoing testing @ AMD Markham as i type this, as i dropped it off there 2 hours ago )

Unless you've got anything that can actually substantiate your claims i have just one thing to say to you about this.

Get your info straight and stop spreading lies and/or unsubstantiated rumors as truths. it does not help this community it actually hurt it.

Maybe you should read more before spreading miss information

Speaking of which, the specifications of the new graphics card from Advanced Micro Devices are as follows.

The GCN 1.0 based Cape Verde GPU features 640 stream processors, as we’ve said before, as well as 40 texture mapping units (TMUs/TUs) and 16 raster operating units (ROPs).

thumb.gif thank you for legitimately give me a reason to block your stupidity.

nothing in that article proves anything. as they can't even be bother to know which cape verde chip is actually in the processor. (which BTW there are 3 versions)

None of their linked slides mention anything about GCN 1.0 or GCN 1.1.

you keep posting reviews without reliable sources, I've said what I need to.

Have fun in your bubble biggrin.gif

that is the info AMD is providing.

Can I see a screen shot of a IBT run on standard? I've wanted to see it's gflop performance but can't find it anywhere online. So if you could run it and post a screenshot that would be much appreciated.
