Are they new? What brand and model? What are they made out of? It's not unusual for plastic to smell like plastic wink.gif but if the smell is especially overpowering, give them a good rinse. I'm also assuming there's no physical damage involved.

It's strange that they would still smell if they were used previously, but you might just be more sensitive to that odor than most people. You're not going to drink out of them so I'd say as long as you can tolerate it, they're ok to use. biggrin.gif

Sometimes excessive heat can make acrylic that is glued together to smell. I don't really think your reservoirs have been exposed to that, but that could be it, especially if they were stored somewhere with sunlight or too much heat. They should be fine either way, just make sure they don't leak.
Run a pump directly connected to just the reservoirs (just loop res-res-pump) for a day if you are worried. put something under it to see if there is water coming out.
Keep in mind before you connect an acrylic reservoir to a pump, wash it out with distilled water to make sure there are no chunks of glue on the inside. More of a thinng to do with with new reservoirs, but if there is bits of glue inside a cheap res, it can kill your pump.
