I got the same when I posted my new rig!!

Looks like a pretty basic set up what graphics card does it have? It has a pretty low power psu, if your going to use it as a base for upgrading then it will definatly need changing. As for games, as it is it should run most games at a reasonable setting out of the box.

First thoughts - its a Pentium D, therefore their offloading old stock.

The 805 is only good for overclocking, so check if you can overclock with that motherboard.

Its got onboard graphics, so I would say you'd be running all games on lowest settings and you'd be lucky to get decent frames.

What was wrong with the one in your sig?

Is this the AMD - General side of the forum (sees their sig)?

I've never heard of a "Intel 101GGCL Socket 775 Motherboard" and for the looks, it seems like it has integrated video and CPU can't be over-clocked.

So, wrong choice for gaming, in general I mean. I wouldn't have bought it, I'd save some more $$$ and go for something much better.

well it kinda dous sound like it has intergrated graphics and 300w psu?? well i dont think this machine is any good for gaming. for the same $700 you can actually put together a much greater rig that will pretty much pwn most games

but its allright if you really like it

that highly true it does say onboard graphix and a 300 watt PSW. so u probly wont be into gaming unless u throw in a good video card and badreligion is right at that price u can build u a rig that can pwn that one. looks can be deceiving.

the onboard video card is a 256 mb pci-e nvidia 7300 gs

i dont think it will be running stuff on low though. My old computer was a dell dimension 2400 with a celly 2.2 ghz and i was gettin good framerates on moslt y all medium/high im gmod and stuff.

and someone said whats wrong with the one in your sig, games on it arent good and stuff, but im sure this one will be much better.

and onboard graphics means nothing these days. My friend has an hp and its like an ati x200.

Eh... I'm sorry my friend but if that was a new core 2 duo, I'd totally agree with you. The fact that you bought a Netburst CPU, in comparison to your current rig, your Athlon SHOULD blow that thing out of the water. I'd actually recommend returning it and building a new rig.

ok here well let me ask you this.

Is this computer better than a dell dimension 2400 with 1 gig of ram and an ati radeon 9250 pci 128 mb video card.

If so than im keeping this new rig, i just wanna run CSS, gmod, bf2 and stuff.

And the onboard video isnt a bad onboard video card. I am dissagreeing with a lot of you on this one.

ohh, and the dell dimension 2400 has a single core intel celeron 2.2 ghz
