cant wait for the Swift PG278Q to arrive

thats my flashed Bios now for 24/7 use with 1.175Volts

My sli pair will boost to 1202mhz stock, on normal bios or ln2 bios.. I can do +50 offset on core which brings me to 1228mhz, anything higher then that it artifacts right away when heaven or valley starts... But even though i have +75 in precision for voltage my cards are at 1.162v and 1.175v.. My classy ti's did 1280mhz and 200 offset on memory @1.212....

You guys that buy these cards that were made for LN2 use an run them on air or water are just plain silly. Why these even sold with an Air cooler to start with is just plain silly. These should of been sold with a Fat or Slim in the box.

They all have to pass a 1300Mhz @ 1.2v test before being sold, and for some people guaranteeing 1300Mhz is enough. But yes these certainly aren't made for air cooling, and aren't even really made for water either.

I've owned 4 GTX 780 Classifieds. They all hit 80C+ on air (depending where I set the thermal target and throttle from there). Because I'm on air I've never gone over 1.212v (set with Precision X). I've never seen an artifact on any of my cards even at 1,306MHz 1.212v hovering around 80C (normal BIOS, skyn3t BIOS, TI BIOS).

I'm currently running SLI and the top card gets really hot. During gaming it's always between 70C and 80C. Never had any problems.

Maybe those artifacts are due to something other than core temp.

What games have you been playing that warrant such a swapping of GPUs?

Really? Mine will do 1228mhz with artifact here and there.. Just did a run bone stock on both the regular bios and ln2 bios, card will boost to 1202mhz on 1.162v and bottom card 1.175v, then about frame 10 of heaven voltages go to 1.200v and 1.212v and the boost goes to 1241mhz.. But this is in sli of course..
