I tried testing with both the Standard and LN2 BIOS, and results were exactly the same. Is there any way around this??

P.S. gloves can actually do more damage then not wearing them

Also have to make sure the gloves are in good shape, I had some gloves that were supposed to be good for cold when first starting with ln2, but the rubbery coating was cracked over a couple knuckles, & if the material underneath can get wet when overfilling a thermos, ln2 burns really suck

Haven't used gloves since & no problems. Getting material that is touching skin wet with ln2 is worse than spilling it on bare skin.

Healed up fine, knuckles turned white for a couple days & the big blisters sucked. Not fun trying to reach into pockets...

Ln2 can burn like fire!

Ya man I feel you there, I have had my share of burns before I settled on cryogenic gloves from Sigma Aldrich. Everything has been smooth for the past 2 years since. Funnily I am not into LN2 for overclocking at all. Not ruling it out though - 4 months ago, I wasn't even considering building my own pc.

Folks I were following this thead till around 87 page and somehow I lost on the way lol, the last thing I read was that EVGA was about to release another BIOS to get higher memory clocks and better timings as far as I remember, but since I've checked this tread couple days now it's hard to figure out what's what, so I want somebody whose been actively participating in this thread fill me some information about how things turned out?

Did the bios fix the memory problems?
does underwater KPE perform better than regular Classified?

Feel free to let me know some other stuff you think I'd need to know if I'm willing to purchase two of these.

Thanks smile.gif

Yes theyr released a new bios with looser timing for the memory and now you're able to push them a bit harder. I know strong got like 8000mhz on the memory. There are people who can go higher than that on normal classys. It kind depends some people including me are getting them because they boost so high at stock volts which is nice for gaming. Others are getting them to bench them the whole time. There isn't currently any stock of them in the US but one member said that EVGA will get some more soon and then again in mid Feb. There really isn't a way to push the volts up without an evbot as the classy tool doesn't work as of yet but they are working on it but you can get an extra 75mV with the switches.

I would say go through some pages or just the pics and just look at the newest bench results maybe there will be something that makes you sway to a specific card

To give you guys an example, we used 700 liters of LN2 in less than a week, and that was not even benching gpu's hard mostly 2D stuff with some light 3D.

As Gunslinger has stated, a 180 liters would be more than enough for cpu, gpu and memory if going super hard wink.gif

Thanks for your respond Sir smile.gif I'm interested in game-side performance difference/results, I never benchmark and not going to either, so I'm *purely* interested in gaming performance only, so I'd like to clarify with you if this card does offer better FPS in games compared to regular Classified and if there is any difference between KPE and regular Classified is it worth to spend some extra and pick up this card over regular? Because in approx. 5 days I'll be putting together an entire rig from ground-up and basically I've picked all the rest of components and kinda stuck with GPU so that's why I'm trying to figure out if this card is really worth the price if you aren't going to bench them but instead using it for gaming only. Thanks once again thumb.gif
