Those thing are made to be push to the sky on LN2, so they are very sturdy and you can assume they will last "forever" if you keep them at "NVIDIA Green Light" voltages.

Ok good the highest I've gone is 1.58v at 42c, if I go any higher my whole systems shuts down so that's also why I think I need I need a higher watt psu.

Measure your power usage at idle conditions to get a better idea of how much usage the CPU and GPU are consuming at load.

If done that, at idle it totals at 330w

I have had to actually pull back on the voltages I was using to get higher core clocks. i was always thinking to just put the volts up all the way but I have learned it's not always the best. Last night I kept crashing during firestrike at 1.575v at 1450 core clock and I had to bring it down to about 1.525v to get thru the runs. All gpu's are different so all voltages will be different. But under water I don't get any benefits going above about 1.5v. of course it might be different for you but there is definitely a point with the classified cards that higher voltages don't help your core clock under water. i can't wait to get mine colder.

Kingpin Cooling emailed me today letting me know my tek 9 pot will be shipped today. I am so excited to try it out.

That's a higher number than I would have expected. Is your CPU on adaptive voltage? Either way, that's about an extra 500 W for both the GPU and CPU under extreme load which is not too bad. Honestly, I would just stick to 1.5V and not spend anymore on the PSU but I know what thread I am posting this in so feel free to just ignore this post biggrin.gif

Those comments on Linus's video are a good example of why cards like these are highly unusual to see mass or limited production. Those comments are representative of the average consumer's knowledge. It's just too bad that the extreme overclockers are punished by the ignorance of the vast majority.

Thank you EVGA for seeing through this and still giving overclockers/benchmark enthusiasts what they really want!

Thanks strong I will definitely try that, I kinda just got lost in the attempt to get to 1500mhz but I'll try to pull back a bit. I must say that going higher did help a bit to reach 1476mhz which I cleared 3dmark with and I think got a pretty reasonable score. I gave up on heaven, it was just too inconsistent for my liking, it just doesn't scale to good for me. What scores did you get on 3dmark at that those speeds? Ya man I can just imagine how amped you are about that pot, you should definitely take loads of pictures so we can see how its done.

I mean I'm fine with sticking with mine now I mean if you guys say its ok then I'm more than fine with it and I just wanted to see what it can do and now I'll just game at stock volts. Yes my cpu is on adaptive voltage. Ya I know it's like saying overkill on here it just doesn't exist. I'm just going to keep it for now and if I want to sell it I can I have a buyer in SA for it as its almost 2 times more expensive over there so I might not loose that much.

As you can see from his video. Linus is just a normal user. He don't have the equipment to review the KPE so the time he spent doing it was just wasted like many of his review too. His review was just a big fail for who don't understand what is it.

This is called ignorance when they don't know what his talk about and think they know.

I can't disagree with your post, Skyn3t.

In other words, FTW12345 has updated the Classy tool to work as before with any of the KPE bios and has increased the max value on the core voltage. So potentially any classified owner might get > 1.5V without an EVBot now biggrin.gif

Skyn3t: Can you add the updated version to the front page please? Download link: http://www7.zippyshare.com/v/64361314/file.html
