The EK back plate for the Classy 780 and 780ti will not fit the Kingpin, so there is a rev 2 Classy 780 back plate that you'd need to buy if you wish to have a back plate. I found that the rev 2 back plate still did not fit anyways and I simply used the stock Kingpin back plate for my card. I find that it looks much nicer anyways. Sucks I wasted a few bucks for the unused Ek one though.

Well that is not good news... I purchased 2 of the rev 2 backplates from EK after reading that the regular ek classy plates would not work.. I still have to get my loop together, but thanks for letting us know..

Ya I am thinking about LN2 more than ever before now, I think I will still end up being bottlenecked by the z87 platform.

Last run I did was 1502 core, 1900 memory on Valley that gave me 137 FPS in the extreme HD mode. This was with 1.325V core and 1.75 V memory using the Classified tool. I still have plenty of work to get the best bench stable clocks though.

Yes... My STH10 is built, now I have to get this loop together so I can get these cards under water.. Even though I have good air flow in my case, they still run warm because of SLI..

I got pretty great cards as far as KPEs go- on sync, both were stable without artifacts at 1452 core on Valley at 1.212V via Precision X alone.

Those cards are Beasts thumb.gif

Do you have any of your Voltage Switches on?

Nope, I figured the classy tool will give me all I want and I didn't want any more gap from what I applied and the actual voltage.

My CPU is holding me back and it could also be one card is just not as good as the other but I am not complaining- just need to test out more smile.gif

Your CPU is enough to get more than 6300 points in this test.
The results in Valley depending on the memory overclock.
Try 1400/8000 and you will got more then 6000 in SLI without artefacts.

The way you work on water, I think you'd make just about any card a beast on ln2.

z87 is great in all but 3dmark, 3dmark 11 & 3dmark Vantage. With a cpu pot the physics scores with a good 4770k in those benches can be competitive with hexcores on air & water.

Will see that tonight . I'm redoing all my tree PCI cables, each on a different socket and no split wires or resistors new mini juniors and a quality copper wire. I still thinking my 4770k can give me some good phys scores. I need to up my CPU core to at least 4.8 MHz I don't care about the voltage a bit higher as I'm benching outside . water temp was max 6c under load pu was about " dont remember tongue.gif " GPU max temp was 22c at 1475mhz. Today things going to be more intensive I was too toured last night.

I'm working on it this moment.
