I can't say I blame you. Good luck on getting a good Classified.

I had the same thought as you so I sold my KPE, and bought a regular Ti Classified...........and I am sorry I did. I have now ordered another KPE, and will be returning the Ti Classifed. The absolute max clocks I can get out of the Ti Classified on water is 1438MHz., and that's only in benchmarks. If I try to play a game, I have to lower the clocks some more. This is also with the latest skyn3t BIOS, and a pretty hefty amount of voltage to get there. My KPE didn't need anywhere near as much voltage, and had a good bit more head room. Hopefully, this second KPE will be as good as the first one I had. I've seen where a few people have been able to eek out 1500MHz with the Ti Classified, but mine sure won't do it. K|NGP|N all the way for me.

Ya that's why I am sticking to both my KPEs. For some reason, I got 2 of the most extreme KPEs ever: Great cores, terrible memory (7250-7300 effective max even on the looser timings BIOS). So while I am sure I can get some more memory clocks from updated BIOS and more tweaking, I won't be winning any benchmarks myself. But the gaming performance from those cards is insane! For 24/7 usage, I will be turning on both dip switches for +50mV, and find a stable overclock via Precision-X. Right now, at stock volts I can go easy 1300 MHz+ core on games.

I don't understand someone who buy KP Classified and sell to buy normal Classified because he use on Air on Water and this card is design for LN2.
That's like I go out side with my friend, out is -20 and he tell me don't go with sky jacket, that's for sky you don't go there.
So what if is designed for LN2, if work good for benchmarks than she is excellent and for games and for Air.
I understand someone to sell because have money to find better sample, but GTX780Ti KP Classified and Classified are almost same card,
difference is price is not so big to someone think on that before something he like. That can do someone who buy GTX760 and every cent need him...
For Air and for Water cards are same and everything depend of sample only one card is rear, special for real fans who do everything to find such cards
and other is same quality only little different and not so good if you use on LN2, but I don't see why KP Classified is not so good for Air.

JDookie I'm glad you back on GTX780Ti KP Classified, you will look card for few years and remember how nice model you had.
I would not sell or change mine for 2x GTX780Ti reference...

Because apparently KPE are specially binned high leakage chips which require extreme cold. This may not be the case for Classy Ti. At least based on what people have been saying about KpEs on various forums....

Both Classy and KPE are binned, KPE is binned a bit more aggressively though.

Are u able to tell us if they are just binned off of asic value? It would seem that is the case as most kpe 780 ti cards has a low 60 asic value which really only shows its true potential under extreme cold.

We really need some more ln2 results from different users of these cards to see there potential.

I am pretty sure he said previously that they don't bin based on ASIC.
