Yes, I needed the FPS more than megapixels, I do a ton of photo work at all the major shooting competitions in the US south western territories, predominantly USPSA area 2. But also at ICORE, IDPA, and major 3-gun matches in the same area... It kinda made sense, since I'm already shooting in the competitions, might as well get paid to be there!!

Very cool man! I can't work outside of my university on my F1 visa and my stipend is all that keeps these hobbies fed for now. PM me a link to some of your work if you can, please. I don't want to take this thread any more off topic.

From UK?
Not sure you how immersed you are in the Texas culture (and when I say Texas, I don't mean the US culture tongue.gif), but here is how it goes; unless you are a Texan, you ain't from here, and unless you have at least a few guns, don't pretend to be one....lol

I have visited numerous times, and have a ton of folks I know from Dallas to Austin. Some of them my best friends, but they will tell you that they are Texan first, and American second, or at least its somewhat implied. Very unique and interesting once you scratch the surface, but I have always enjoyed it. smile.gif

Ya, I have been to a lot of places here and elsewhere and, other than LA and NY, I haven't seen a city with better food options.

You should hangout in the south east more, instead of south west, if that's what you like....lol

nope

shank
as in

il stab you you damn lucky bastard. tongue.gif

I have personally only been in NYC, new jersey, baltimore, san antonio and austin(got a friend to drive there for the in-n-out)

I don't think I will go much further; us "small country" people as I get called are not used to anything longer than a half hour drive. drive a hour and half in any direction and I am in a different country rolleyes.gif

also I hate your summer. feels like fricking hell. hence why I stay away from florida. But hey getting married in SA next year during the summer so I will have to get used to it. (having a wedding in belgium and US)

on GPU side. I am still regretting not getting a kingpin and nobody in fricking belgium wanting a classified. I have been fiddling around more and more in terms of benching. planning to enter the HWbot rookie cup. CPU overclocking mostly. got 5.0ghz running but its running a TAD too hot in the end of the benching.

so solution. take my entire rig outside at night where it is about 28-34. cover it up so no moisture gets in. let it cool down the chassis and everythign, take off cover and then start benching like a idiot sitting in a blanket outside his house with his computer rolleyes.gif should be able to get my classified higher too with the cooled ambient.

I might cave in and just get a 360 rad and make a loop with my CPU and GPU with a bay reservoir. rolleyes.gif being limited by temperatures suck.

Also been looking into LN2 but I think its too expensive over here. I barely find any information to begin with and then I saw prices like 130 bucks for like a 2 liter container. I don't know how much LN2 is normally used but damn expensive.

I paid $1.50 a liter and for a huge 170L tank they should be able to do it for $.75-$1. Honestly I like paying them a little more because I am so happy they are so close and I am a small customer so I don't mind paying a little extra to keep them a little happier. they treated me so nice and helped me a lot. They also gave me the 4 pretty big dewars with no rental fee and only charged for the ln2 and also gave me a mask and gloves. Anyone in new york near long island should call or go to general welding supply. They probably deliver to a lot of different areas in ny, @provost they could be good for you. They are awesome and have the biggest tanks I have ever seen of this stuff. liquid helium and oxygen also. They were great guys.

I didn't realize but they said most welders don't really use the ln2. One of there biggest customers are the NYC night clubs because they do the smoke shows with it
