So he could have taken his time like what I assume everyone else is doing with their review. But having said that, I only anticipate a handful to overclock well- Hardware Canucks and Guru3D for example.

I see no reason why he'd lie about when he got the card, lol.

I meant he has a history about wanting to be the first to have products showcased, by even sometimes teasing them way before NDA. I don't doubt that he got the card yesterday.

Ah, gotcha, yes, but I would say that's pretty much all reviewers.

Either way, back on topic. lol.

For whatever reason no matter how much voltage i give them the boost clock does not change. Also last night tried +50 on my memory and Valley was having artifacts. This is on Stock bios (green LED)

So i dont know if my card/cards are faulty, if something is wrong in my system, or what.

Also is there a change-log for what the XOCKPTi bios actually change. I know they have been talked about on here and on KPcooling, but cant seem to find out what they actually changed.

Boost is temperature dependent, not voltage dependent. You add in more volts, the card gets hotter so why would it boost higher? If anything it would go lower. Definitely flash over to the 3888KPTi or the latest skyn3t BIOS- higher power limits, compatibility with Classy tool.EVBot, looser memory timings.

Edit: lol I just saw you were on the normal BIOS, of course it would artifact on that. That has a lower power limit than even the stock LN2 BIOS.

what temps are you reaching for this? seems to be temp issue, make sure they stay under 50c

sometimes with a stock card and stock bios and using the precision x overvoltage tool, adding voltage does add a bin or 2 to the boost clock. i think all of that goes out the window though once using a custom bios and the classy overvoltage tool. He is probably thinking of a stock cards usual behavior.

if you are using the xoc bios... it's boost disabled. Switch to the stock bios and see if your boost works.

I figured even just +50 on memory on stock bios would still be within reason. I know it has lower power limit, and the LN2 really doesnt add much. I first wanted to try everything on stock bios before i flash over to something. But i am surprised +50 still gave me issues.

Ya on stock bios just testing things out. Normally Adding voltage would increase bin. I see all these people boosting to 1300mhz my boosts to 1188mhz

Im on Stock bios right now. I just wanted to give it a run on Stock before i flash over just to see what it would do. I see that Vince has released those XOC bios that he endorsed so just wanted to see what it does.

Still trying to see which bios would be best for Game stable, and which would be best for Benching.

I don't think there is a 780 Ti that boosts to 1,300 out of the box. The only way to do that is to set an offset in AB or Precision X.
